Are there any allergens in your soaps?

We use essential oils only and in safe quantities, however, it is possible that some users will have a small reaction. This happens simply because we all have different reactions to natural ingredients – for example I’m allergic to pollen. All potential allergens are identified on our soap labels so that you can verify before purchasing. If you are unsure, please check by using on a small patch of skin first.

What is the difference between your products and widely available soaps?

Our soaps are made in the traditional way, called cold process, whereas many “soaps” commercially available are in fact detergent or cream products compacted into a soap shape. For example, it is very common to find SLS (Sodium Laureate Sulfate) in everyday cosmetics which are used as preservatives and have been found to lower the protective barrier of your skin. We do not use any SLS or other harsh products.

What quality level are your soap ingredients?

Our oils are of the highest quality, used fresh and sourced from the best providers. Our soap making oils used are treated gently and kept in the best condition possible as appropriate for each oil. The water used within the soaps is pure, distilled water also from a reputable provider. The silk and other ingredients are also sourced from the best providers and of the highest quality. We make no compromise on this.

What is your order cancellation and refunds policy?

For an order cancellation:

The Consumer Contracts Regulations applies for customers within the EU: You have a right to cancel your order from the time you have placed the order and within 14 days after receipt of the goods. You must inform us in writing of this decision by contacting us. Once we confirm acknowledgment of your returns request you will then have a maximum of 14 days to send the goods back. Once we receive the goods in good condition we will confirm receipt and process your refund for the goods as per regulations in place. M Y T H Y N is not responsible for covering shipping costs.

You will need to return the item, unused, in the original product and outer packaging and in a resalable condition.

Faulty & damaged items:

Some of our items are not meant to look ‘perfect’, this is part of the charm of a handmade product – product photography & descriptions products are realistic and clear. Additionally, products are only put for sale is they adhere to our strict quality standards. If you receive a faulty or damaged item for any reason however, we will exchange the item for you as soon as possible. If you do not want an exchange we will offer a refund otherwise.

Please note that we may require photographic evidence, or even a return of the goods for quality control. We appreciate your cooperation.
